Veneers are thin sheets obtained by cutting large diameter wood. Cut sheets are combined into bundles in such a way as to maintain the order in which they were removed from the trunk. This way both the drawing and shade of tree rings retain continuity, while being unique. The foil is a synthetic material, but through the use of appropriate technology it imitates natural materials very well.The veneers have much better strength parameters than the foil.
An important difference between veneered and foiled doors is also the construction of door leaf. Frame of foiled doors is made of high quality MDF. Veneered door leaves are made of finger-joint pinewood combined with MDF and HDF boards and wrapped into veneer, which is protected with a high quality varnish.
